About The Music Shop

The Music Shop opened it’s first retail store in Loxton, South Australia in 2003, offering musical instruments and tuition to the local community.

Recognising the potential of e-commerce early on, we jumped on board with our own online store in 2004, allowing us to serve musicians across Australia with their musical instrument and accessory requirements. As our online presence grew, so did our business.

After many successful years running both a retail shop and an online store, our business continued to evolve. We now operate primarily online, supported by a dedicated warehouse/showroom in Loxton that is open to the public 7 days a week by appointment.

In 2025 we changed our focus to specialise in music accessories. Along with this we upgraded to a new website with a more user-friendly platform.
